Havenswood Friday Breakfast Support Hub at The Street, Scarborough
New for 2026
From January 2026, join us at 9:30-11:30am every Friday morning at Unit 27, The Street for our friendly Havenswood Support Group - a relaxed, welcoming space for parents, grandparents and carers of neurodivergent children and young people.
Not sure what you’re entitled to? Struggling with filling in forms? Been turned down for an EHCP or can’t find a suitable school place for your child?
Drop in for a coffee and a free breakfast, a chat, and the chance to meet others who understand the ups and downs of the neurodiverse journey. Get professional help, friendly advice, and a listening ear from people who understand. Share your story, swap top tips and advice, bring your forms and get help to fill them in. Whether you want to talk, take a breather, or just enjoy a cuppa in good company, everyone is welcome.
Each week you’ll find:
One-to-one support and a listening ear
Expert advice on SEND, benefits, and education issues
A ‘help table’ for assistance with filling in forms and applications
A Sensory Shop and Swap Shop for families
Occasional guest speakers, information leaflets, and professional guidance from our team members and a network of SEND specialists.
Our aim is simple - to create a warm, understanding space where families can connect, share experiences, and find practical help and emotional support.
