Building a future where every neurodivergent child and family can access the education, care, connection and opportunities they need to thrive.
Our vision is to transform the life chances of neurodivergent children who are struggling with, or excluded from mainstream education by offering support and opportunity, recognising their own unique gifts and abilities. We also want to support families as they move through the everyday realities of neurodivergent life, offering help, understanding, guidance and reassurance along the way.
Step by Step - our Timeline
We’re starting with baby steps, putting down our roots at The Street Community Venue - a fantastic local resource with a wide range of facilities that support our work.
Our enrichment and social groups will be based here as we begin to grow, develop and refine our provision, building a strong foundation for the future.
As Havenswood grows, we want to move into a dedicated space of our own, creating a permanent ‘village’ home for our services and the community. When the time is right, we look forward to expanding into our own setting and continuing to serve children, young people and families across our community for many years to come.
As a charity, we’ll rely on the generosity of donors, volunteers and partners to help us raise money to develop facilities, employ the right people and maintain our services.Whether you’re a parent, educator, healthcare professional or friend of the community, there’s a way to help support us at Havenswood.
