Julie brings a determined focus and unwavering dedication to her role as project manager and Chair of Trustees.

Throughout her diverse working career, Julie also spent a number of years working as an Operations, Project and Events Manager, overseeing a number of building expansion and community projects, combining a keen eye for design with strong operational and people management skills.

A former British international swimmer, Julie understands the depth of dedication, drive, determination and effort it takes to pursue and achieve excellence and to never give up. Undaunted by complex challenges, she now brings her vision, determination, and leadership to Havenswood Trust, where her skills and experience will help establish a vibrant and inclusive family community and SEND support Village in Scarborough.

Julie originates from Teesside, but now lives in Scarborough with her husband, John. They have three, grown up children and five grandchildren.
