Turning strengths into real-world opportunities

Is your child talented - perhaps a real entrepreneur?

Do they have an interest that could be turned into a small, viable business ?

StartUp Sparks is a practical, strengths-based entrepreneurship programme for neurodivergent teenagers aged 14–21. It is designed to help young people turn their interests, passions and unique ways of thinking into small, manageable micro-business ideas.

Many neurodivergent young people have deep focus, creativity, honesty, problem-solving ability and specialist knowledge in areas they love. StartUp Sparks helps them recognise these strengths as assets and explore how they can be used in the real world — whether through digital art, tutoring, craft products, lawn care, gaming support, baking, tech help or other interest-led ideas.

This is not a traditional business studies course. It is practical, creative and supportive. Young people work in small groups in a calm, structured environment, with clear step-by-step guidance and experienced facilitators who understand neurodivergent profiles. A Community-Led Initiative

We are committed to keeping our sessions accessible and inclusive. However, as an independent charity, we rely on fundraising and community support to make these programmes possible and free to attend. Without ongoing financial support, we simply cannot provide the range of services our families and children need.
